Steve and Kali along with the occasional guest give you a practical explanation of the principles of Mind, Thought and Consciousness and how you can practically apply them in your own life. This video series is not a set of tools and techniques but an insight into how you can blow the dust off everything that has cluttered your thinking over the years to reveal your true self and inner wisdom.
Course structure
In this episode Kali and Steve introduce the 3 Principles which Syd Banks realised and exposed about how we experience life: Mind the source of all life and our inner wisdom, Thought, our perceptual system and our predictive brain and Consciousness, the thinking and neurological level of our brain which allows us to experience life and our reality at a higher level. For example, our level of consciousness is much higher now than during the reign of Henry the Eighth.
Steve and Kali explain why we see the world the way we do from our ‘script’ or mental models of the world which contains all our beliefs and values. This is the source our predictive brain uses to best guess what is going on and creates our reality of events and other people.
We take a humorous look at where our good and bad feelings actually come from and ultimately our source of happiness and negative emotions. Topics include Kali’s shoes, football and Steve’s car.
Steve and Kali provide some practical insights into understanding our ‘Personal mind’ or ego and ‘Mind’ or our inner wisdom and true self using Tim Gallwey’s concept of ‘Self One and Self Two.
Steve and Kali take a deep dive into the Power of Perception and an explanation of Mind, Consciousness and Thought using Clare Graves Values and our own evolution of beliefs and attitudes to put across their take on consciousness.
We explore the benefits of coaching using the 3 Principles and its impact compared to therapy, NLP and traditional coaching.
